Photo 1: Before photo showing left lower eyelid basal cell carcinoma.

Photo 2: The cancer was much more extensive than it appeared on the surface. This picture shows the defect created by removal of the cancer with MOHS surgery. Both the upper and lower eyelid and outer corner of eye required reconstruction.

Photo 3: Four months after oculofacial plastic surgery performed by Dr. Enzer to reconstruct the left eyelid defects. She has a normal appearance and perfectly functional eyelid again.

Photo 1: This gentlemen has a basal cell carcinoma in the inner aspect of the left lower lid margin.

Photo 2: The defect created by excising the skin cancer with MOHS Surgery. Unfortunately the surgery also removed the beginning of his tear drain, which courses just under the lid skin in this area. Without it, the eye would constantly have tears running down his face.

Photo 3: Three months after oculofacial plastic surgery repair of the eyelid with regional flaps and microsurgical tear duct reconstruction. He looks great, as if nothing was done, and the tear duct is functioning perfectly.

Photo 1: Before photo of a right lower eyelid Basal cell carcinoma.

Photo 2: After MOHS surgery a right lower skin defect was created. The eyelid has a tendency to pull down and away from the eye in these situations.

Photo 3: Four months after reconstruction by Dr. Enzer with a rotational skin flap. The eyelid was also tightened against the eye to prevent it from being pulled down. He has an excellent cosmetic and functional result.
