This is Dr. Enzer’s preferred method of brow lifting. Why? It is the simplest, safest, fastest, and most direct way to raise and stabilize the brow. Keep in mind that mainly the outer half of the brow deflates and falls, while the inner (medial) half is much more securely attached.
No hair incision is needed like the endoscopic or other techniques, and the brow is fixated in place directly where you need it, not far away like in the hairline. The only caveat is that it requires an upper blepharoplasty incision, but they pair so well together like a fine wine pairs with a meal.
At the start of the procedure, anesthesia is administered to ensure patient comfort. This may involve general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
Following this, incisions are made to allow access to the underlying tissues. For the endoscopic brow lift, three to five small incisions are made behind the hairline. Once these have been created, an endoscope is carefully inserted into one of the incisions.
An endoscope is a small tool with a camera and a light on it. This transmits images onto an external monitor in the operating room. These detailed images allow Dr. Enzer to make changes that are extremely precise.
