Photo 1: This gentlemen has a basal cell carcinoma in the inner aspect of the left lower lid margin.

Photo 2: The defect created by excising the skin cancer with MOHS Surgery. Unfortunately the surgery also removed the beginning of his tear drain, which courses just under the lid skin in this area. Without it, the eye would constantly have tears running down his face.

Photo 3: Three months after oculofacial plastic surgery repair of the eyelid with regional flaps and microsurgical tear duct reconstruction. He looks great, as if nothing was done, and the tear duct is functioning perfectly.
