This patient had an aggressive, rapidly-growing squamous cell carcinoma of the right upper lid. This was removed with several rounds of MOHS surgery, resulting in loss of almost half the lid skin, including the eyelashes. Dr. Enzer reconstructed the defect with a skin flap from the lateral eyelid area. Notice the perfect skin match in terms of thickness, texture, and color – a result that is otherwise very elusive with skin grafting.
