Before: This patient in her fifties noticed more and more excess skin on her upper lids to the point where she could barely see them or apply mascara. Because she works in the cosmetic surgery world, she knows all the doctors in New England and beyond. After several inquiries, she selected Dr. Enzer as her cosmetic eyelid surgeon.

After: These photos were taken a little over two weeks after her upper laser blepharoplasty and internal browpexy lift. The surgery was comfortably performed with the patient awake in our office operatory using the Lumenis carbon dioxide laser for the entire procedure to minimize bruising.

Why add the browpexy?

Many plastic surgeons ignore the eyebrow when it comes to upper lid sugery, and patients are left with either undercorrections, or incision scars that are too high or extend beyond the lids and are visible. Doing the browpexy raises the outer half of the brow, the part that falls the most, and there are no extra skin incisions- the brow is released, elevated, and tacked up internally just before closing the upper lid blepharoplasty incision. The results are natural, with much less risk, and faster healing than other brow lifting options.

Both Dr. Enzer and the patient were delighted with her results!
