Description: Before (left): This patient has a very irregular and elongated earlobe piercing hole. She can no longer wear earrings, especially posts, without them falling out.
After (right): This photo shows the same earlobe three months after the repair. The patient required that the earlobe be converted into a full split before completing the repair due to the lack of tissue between the bottom of the piercing slit and the earlobe margin. Notice the smooth contour of the new earlobe margin. She is almost done healing and should be ready to get the earlobe pierced again in a few months.
