Before: This patient has a nearly complete split on her left earlobe. She is unable to wear an earring, and would like to do so again.

After: This photograph shows the left earlobe three months after surgical repair. Even though there was a thin skin remnant, in order to obtain a smooth edge, the elongated slit was converted into a full split during the procedure. The patient and Dr. Enzer were thrilled with the outcome, she is ready to get her new piercing, and wear those shiny new earrings again!
