This elderly gentleman was born with drooping eyelids He had no access to the sophisticated medical techniques needed to help him in his country. When he came to the United States, one surgeon did the standard levator resection surgery. Unfortunately because of the degree of muscle weakness, this was not the correct procedure, and thus the surgery was unsuccessful.

Dr. Enzer performed a bilateral frontalis suspension, and you can see the great results. The photos speak a thousand words. The patient is also able to fully close his lids, which can sometimes be a problem after ptosis surgery. Also, since the surgery, the patient does not have to tilt his head backwards to see, and thus his neck pain has resolved too.
