As an Oculofacial Surgeon, Dr. Enzer has trained in plastic surgery,
with specialized training in the eyes and surrounding facial structures.
After ophthalmology (eye surgery) training at Brown University,
Dr. Enzer did his advanced fellowship training at the prestigious
Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California School
Of Medicine, Los Angeles, California (UCLA). Afterwards, he passed
all the tests and wrote an original thesis, thus fulfilling the
requirements to become a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Oculofacial surgeons
are best qualified to perform delicate and complex surgery, especially
around the eye and facial area. There are about 500 ASOPRS physicians
in the entire world.
Reconstructive Oculofacial Procedures
Reconstructive procedures are aimed at restoring normal
function, or to the best extent possible, to facial structures
affected by trauma, aging, or other disease processes. These surgeries
