Dry Eye Therapy

When the lacrimal gland does not produce enough tears to keep the eye moist and healthy, the eye becomes dry. It begins to burn and feel irritated. Chronic lid margin infections can make the dry eye problem even worse. Often lubricating ointments and artificial tears help relieve the symptoms, but one needs to get to the basis of the problem.
