Chemical PeelsChemical peels are a form of skin resurfacing, designed to improve skin color (tone) and quality. A spectrum of peel strengths is available, from the mild glycolic acids to the very strong phenol. We at Enzer & Associates offer the Refinity ® Glycolic Peel System, epionce® peels and VIVITÉ® peels to our patients. The Refinity® Glycolic Peel offers the advantages of the strongest 70% glycolic peel coupled with excellent comfort during the procedure and minimal-to-no downtime. After a series of monthly glycolic peels, patients note a gradual improvement in skin tone and color. In between peel sessions, a home skin maintenance program is recommended for maximum treatment benefit. For a deeper and stronger effect, Dr. Enzer recommends fractionated laser skin resurfacing.
